When you purchase a machine from Mill Girl Quilts you are purchasing more than the machine. You are making a partnership with Mill Girl Quilts to make sure you will be able to use your machine to its fullest potential and get a good "return on your investment". We will supply you with the classes you need to be able to fully utilize your machine. Our trained staff will be on hand to assist you when you need a little help, and our machine repair department will keep your machine in tip-top working condition.
Embroidery Club
Our Embroidery Club will be open to owners of any brand embroidery machine, as well as those who may be interested in getting into machine embroidery. The club meets the 3rd Monday of the month, at 7PM. Call us at the store for specific dates and details. Free! Everyone welcome!
BERNINA CLASSES AT MILL GIRL QUILTS
GUIDE CLASSES FOR MACHINE PURCHASERS
A customer who purchases a Bernina machine from Mill Girl Quilts will automatically receive free "guide classes". Guide classes teach students how to use the features of their new machines. Classes are scheduled on a rotating basis, so if the student can't attend a class in this round, they can pick it up next time around.
We no longer offer Bernina classes for those who have purchased a machine at another dealership.
OUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT
New machine owners receive one year of free labor including one clean, oil, and adjust prior to the first anniversary of the purchase date from Mill Girl Quilts. Bernina warranties the parts as outlined in the warranty card with your new machine. It should be noted that we will service any Bernina machine regardless of where it was purchased. However, if it was not purchsed from Mill Girl Quilts, there will be a charge for labor (and any parts that are not warrantied by Bernina).
Our technician, Andrew, has over 20 years experience as a service technician on both mechanical and electronic devices. He is a Bernina certified technician.
EMBROIDERERS TAKE NOTE!!!
If you own any brand of Embroidery machine you will want to know that Mill Girl Quilts is now carrying supplies for your embroidery needs. We are stocking the entire line of ISACORD thread. This is a polyester thread that has the same shiny properties as rayon thread but is stronger. The color selection is awsome!
We also carry Mettler cotton embroidery threads in two weights (60 wt. and No. 30).
If you are looking for stabilizers, we have a full range of both tear-away and cut-away in black and white. Several spray adhesives such as 505, 404, 202, and the sticky residue cleaner are available.
We also have a book which you can browse through of designs available on cards or CD's from OESD (Oklahoma Embroidery Supply and Design). If you are currently purchasing embroidery designs or books from OESD online, we would like to let you know that we are now an online dealer. We feature "Embroidery Take Out". This is a great service for ALL embroidery machine brand owners. We have thousands of embroidery designs right in our computer for you to choose from. You tell us what media you want it on (card, CD, floppy), and which format you wish (.art, .pes, .hus, .exp, .sew, and others), or multi-format and we will brun a CD or write a card for you on the spot! It comes complete with color charts for threads, and pictures of the designs. The price is very reasonable -- as low as $49.00 for an entire page of designs.
