Currently (Sept. 2005) we are taking quilts by appointment with Susan only.
Susan is quilting a limited number of quilts. She would be happy to speak to you about your quilt and tell you if she can fit it into the schedule. Please ask to speak to Susan.
Preparing Your Quilt
If you need to seam your backing, cut off any selvedge edges before stitching the seam. You may leave selvedge edges on outside edges of the quilt backing. The backing and batting need to be at least 4" larger on all sides than your quilt top. Please cut the top and bottom edges of your backing so they are straight and square. This ensures the quilt goes on the machine straight and is important for keeping the design straight with your top. Press your backing and quilt top well and fold it carefully. Please do not layer top, batting and backing before folding. Fold each piece separately. Do not baste your quilt.
